Upgraded Crankshaft Seal Flange for EA888 Gen.3 Engines
One of the most common weak points of the EA888 engine is the crankshaft seal.
On tuned engines, especially when crankcase pressure increases, the original seal can become insufficient and may eventually lead to oil leaks.
One of the most common causes is the factory PCV valve. When it no longer operates correctly, crankcase pressure rises and the original seal may not be able to withstand the additional pressure.
This CNC-machined flange, fitted with an optimized and larger shaft seal, provides a stronger and more durable solution. The upgraded seal is significantly larger and more than twice as thick as the original component, providing improved sealing and greater resistance under demanding conditions.
